I first made connection with Gypsie Nation on the Big Island of Hawaii and it didn’t take long to open me up.  I saw the need for ritual and community in our modern world that felt non dogmatic and diverse.

When I found out Gypsie Nation was starting up a Seattle chapter I jumped at the opportunity to get involved.  What first impressed me was watching a very ordinary space turn into a very sacred beautiful space in a short amount of time.  I enjoyed watching the different styles of the community communicate and mold the environment. To see people working together with similar intensions opened me up to new visions for the planet and rekindled my hope for humanity.

Volunteering with Gypsie Nation helped me to be a better communicator and showed me new ways of connecting to a bigger and more diverse audience.  I witnessed how the different genres of music affected people, and how the energy of the day, the energy in the room, all collaborated in creating the dance.  Helping facilitate the dances has also been key in my evolution as a teacher/listener/communicator.

Blessings to the healing of the planet.
